First Ultra Sound

This is a Special Day! Chad and I got to see our baby today for the first time.
This little one is 6.60cm which is about 3 inches long.
I'm a week further along then I had expected. 12 weeks 4 days.
The due date was moved up 5 days to February 7th 2009. Lets see if i carry on my mothers tradition and stick to my due date.
Chad noticed that during the ultra sound you could literally see the baby's heart beating. The heart beat was at 153 per min. That's Twice as fast as an average adult. I cant wait to see the new one face to face.

BBQ

Since Sunday is the guys only day off all week. We like to reward them for there hard work by throwing BBQ's.
This particular sunday, some of the guys wanted to show Chad their apreciation... I don't quite know how Chad felt about their adoring praises but i know they didn't keep him down too long.
After all their anger was relesed there was a nice game of valley-ball.
Sarah Marquez with a wicked save...
Austin Bridge with a set...

But the true MVP is Tyler Carn with his perfect formed set.

You cant forget the adoring fans...Expecially the ones that cant help but work on their one day off like Dave Holker who is on the phone with the reginal Allen Swick.

But in the end the thing that matters is how good the food was. And thanks to Morgan, Justin Gift and Dan the Hambergers were amazing. and thanks to Chad and Austin Bridge the pinaple couldn't be better. Thanks everyone!!!!

Proposal

October 30th was a big day. Chad took me out to breakfast that morning which wasn’t too out of the ordinary for him but still a little unusual. The fact that he was going to make me miss one of my classes that I couldn't miss to go out to dinner with him was when I got a little suspicious. He told me to wear something nice which just topped it all off. We drove to SLC to "Spencer’s" for dinner. (Thanks Swick for the recommendation) On our way inside from the parking lot Chad dropped his keys and when he went to bend over to something mettle fell out of his pocket onto the cement…that’s when I knew for sure. Dinner was amazing one of the best steak houses in the US. Chad out did himself when he took me to temple square to see the Joseph Smith movie. I had never seen it before, and it was so good. My testimony was strengthened so much Just what I needed. On our way back to the car right outside the reflecting pool he gave his amazing speech and gave me the ring. (of course he was on his one knee).

I was really happy. He asked if I knew ‘cuz my dad told me. I asked him why he thought that and he told me its ‘cuz he asked my dad's permission and I flipped out, that when I started crying. He made every dream come true!!!! He then took me on a carriage ride through the city. The fall scenery was so beautiful. A perfect night!!!!
